We caught up with Anastacia, the talented artisan behind Rayvenwoodmanor, and asked her a few questions so you get to know her better:

What inspires you?
My current inspiration is my involvement with The Artisan Group™ , an elite juried community of talented artisans who collectively provide a lovely sampling of handcrafted products to celebrities and members of the press at major award show luxury Gift Lounges like GBK’s Academy Awards, Golden Globes, and Primetime Emmys Gifting Suites. Being a member and having the opportunity to design a piece of jewelry for a specific celebrity motivates me to create unique quality items of adornment. The members of The Artisan Group are talented, innovative, cutting edge people who offer advice, share valuable business experience, and are an inspiration to me.

What is your favorite product to make?
It would have to be the Swarovski Bridal Boutonnieres that Entrepreneur Magazine selected to be in their 2012 Holiday Gift Guide.

The boutonniere was originally created for my husband to wear in our wedding. The piece adds contemporary flair and James Bond style to any distinguished gentleman, dapper groom, or partner-to-be.

How would you describe your style in 3 words?
Exquisite Heirloom Quality

In your opinion, what’s the best part of being an entrepreneur?
Entrepreneurship is wonderful because as Mother of 2 small boys I get to work in a career that I love, work at any hour of the day on my jewelry creations, and I have the flexibility to enjoy it without the feeling of neglecting my family. Most of my best jewelry work is done on my kitchen table while my children are playing nearby.

If you were to start all over again, what would you do differently?
Do you mean my life or my jewelry business? Lol! There is nothing I would do differently. My life experience both personal and professional is what makes me the person I am today. I don’t regret any decision I have made be it good or bad as I have loved and learned from the best of the best! Things happen for a reason and every moment, experience, and person in my past makes me who I am.

RayvenwoodmanorAny advice for other crafters who are just starting?
Working as a Artisan and getting opportunities involves, marketing, research and time. Get ready to research, create a product that you personally love, craft the right photos, find the right clientele and spend time learning about what opportunities are realistically out there for you to achieve. Most of all, don’t let others define you, only you know who you truly are.

What’s next? Any plans for the future?
I have new photo shoots scheduled this year to showcase my jewelry on enchanting models who have been hand selected to be the faces of Rayvenwoodmanor for future marketing endeavors.

I am currently working on an all Sterling silver, one of a kind jewelry “for every day wear” line featuring faceted briolette cut gemstones.
