Piccolo Paradiso

Rosalba Berardi is the founder and creative force behind Piccolo Paradiso (Italian for “Little Paradise”) the Artisan Luxury Soap, Bath and Body Line. Rosalba was raised with a true appreciation of Italy having spent many summers there growing up. Italian culture has always been an inspiration in her life and work.

Rosalba’s drive for finding new creative challenges and working with her hands led her to the art of soap making. What started as a fun creative hobby quickly turned into a prospering new business creating distinctively designed soap using raw ingredients from all over the world.

Piccolo Paradiso will be featured in the 2012 Golden Globes Gift Lounge, sponsored by GBK Productions. Piccolo Paradiso designed a new soap creation specifically for the event. Spumonte & Truffles Artisan Soap, Principessa and Principe Artisan Soaps.

JuditB Jewelry started as the fulfillment of a dream….. a hobby transformed … a business bringing special jewellery to strong women with a love of geometry and style, glitz and glamour!

Two years ago Judit was a multilingual translator with a passion for design: furniture, interiors & jewellery. A chance opportunity to exhibit at a major craft fair was the beginning of an explosive business. She has since been Exhibitor of the Week at Top Drawer in London and interviewed by Retail Jeweller, London as a Rising Star and featured in various other publications and websites.

Her modern jewellery reflects her love of art and architecture, particularly art deco, playing with geometric shapes in silver, crystals, leather, and semi precious stones, creating timeless pieces for the discerning shopper.

Flower Fantasy Wire Knitted Statement Necklace - Denise

Kathy C. Messick founded Kath’s Elegant Accessories, LLC, in 2010. The GBK Productions’ luxury gift lounge for The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards, made possible by The Artisan Group, will be Kath’s first celebrity gift lounge experience. Her level of participation in this event included a display statement necklace, as well as gifts and business cards presented to the press and attending celebrities.

Kath’s Statement Necklace “Flower Fantasy – Denise” will be prominently featured on display at The Artisan Group’s exhibit. For the press and celebrity gifts, she created a variety of individual Wire Knitted Flower Pendants suspended from re-purposed t-shirt material. As a supporter of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, she hopes that the pendant named for her youngest brother, “Amethyst Glass Flower Pendant on Repurposed T-shirt Necklace – Alvin ” will bring additional awareness to this disease.

Hearts of Stone Jewelry

Hearts of Stone Jewelry is participating in the Luxury Gift Lounge at the Golden Globes Awards hosted by GBK Productions on January 13-14, 2012! In honor of the awards themselves, owner and designer Rachel Leathers took her inspiration for her gift of 100 pairs of earrings from the Golden Globes statuette, and recreated it as brass chandelier earrings featuring a globe charm and mahogany obsidian hearts. Currently extra pairs are being offered in the HoSJ shop on Etsy! Rachel is thrilled to be a member of The Artisan Group, which is providing her with such a fun and amazing opportunity.

Hearts of Stone Jewelry was born out of a love of all things rocks, gems and minerals, and unemployment! Rachel has been in the costume industry for 22 years, but scarcity of work prompted her to channel her creative energies into her hobby of jewelry-making, and turning it into a full-time endeavor. Since joining The Artisan Group, Rachel and HoSJ have enjoyed new connections and chances to reach a broader audience. It is her hope that by gifting at the luxury lounge, Rachel’s business will grow beyond her dreams!

Taradara is a handmade sewing company that makes funky accessory covers, wallets, bracelet cuffs, and business card holders. Taradara has made iPhone Covers for the Golden Globe Gift Bags, they are all one of a kind and fit the 4/4S iPhones. Their iPad Covers won Best New Product at the Moms in Business Unite Conference held in Denver in 2011. Their products are completely unique and whimsical and make wonderful gifts for the woman/girl who likes one of a kind, funky pieces.

Tara is the owner and designer of Taradara and loves being a Mompreneur. She loves that she’s truly following her passion and doing what she loves and is able to be present for her 2 young boys at home.

Bot Joy

When Gary Hirsch was growing up he had a lot of nightmares. On these nights when he couldn’t sleep, he would sit with his father in the kitchen and draw the monsters from his dreams. Once during a late night doodling session, his father leaned over and said, “ You know, if you can create them, then you can also erase them.” So Gary would draw and erase and after a while the nightmares would came a bit less frequently.

Still doodling as a grown up, Gary has created Bot Joy, an army of hand-painted robots that are programmed to bring you joy, happiness, even help you sleep better. Gary sells Bots all over the world from his home in Portland Oregon where he also runs a 12 person creative consultancy (www.oyf.com) that uses improv theater and visual art to help some of the world’s most successful companies communicate and relate… all while having a ridiculously good time.
